Morning: The Birthplace of Scotch Whisky
Lindores Abbey Distillery – A Whisky Legacy Since 1494
Our whisky journey begins at the legendary Lindores Abbey, the spiritual home of Scotch whisky. The earliest written reference to whisky production in Scotland appears in Exchequer Rolls from 1494, detailing how monks at Lindores Abbey crafted “aqua vitae” for the King. Today, Lindores Abbey Distillery revives that ancient tradition with heritage-inspired whiskies and Aqua Vitae, a modern take on Scotland’s earliest spirit. Wander through the abbey’s historic ruins, explore the distillery’s copper stills and ageing casks, and experience a whisky tasting steeped in history.

After brunch, we leave the historic heart of whisky-making behind and travel through Fife’s rolling countryside, passing medieval villages and coastal views on our way to our next destination.
Midday: The Revival of a Legend
Rosebank Distillery – The King of the Lowlands Returns
Revered as the “King of the Lowlands”, Rosebank was once considered the finest triple-distilled whisky in Scotland before falling silent in the 1990s. Now, after decades of dormancy, Rosebank has been reborn, blending traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge modern innovation. Here, you’ll step inside the newly restored distillery, discover the secrets of its light, floral, and complex whisky style, and enjoy an exclusive tasting of its long-awaited releases.

Afternoon: The Garden Home of Johnnie Walker
Glenkinchie Distillery – The Elegant Lowland Malt
Surrounded by the rolling green hills of East Lothian, Glenkinchie Distillery is known as "The Edinburgh Malt", producing one of the most delicate and refined single malts in Scotland. As one of Johnnie Walker’s Four Corners of Scotland distilleries, Glenkinchie represents the Lowland style within the world’s most famous blended whisky. But on its own, Glenkinchie is a beautifully crafted whisky in its own right—floral, light, and subtly spiced, reflecting the softness of its surroundings.
