Trip of my dreams! I truly cannot say enough good things about Bonnie Scotland Tours, and about my tour guide Robbie in particular. Everything logistically was as expected for a premium tour company - responsive in booking and building out a customized two day itinerary (glad they advised I do two days for everything I wanted to cover! 1 day would have felt rushed), vehicle (and snacks, etc.) were as advertised. Where they really shined was in the actual experience with the guide (Robbie) - he made the trip! Few reasons why Robbie and Bonnie Scotland helped me achieve the trip of a lifetime: First and foremost, Robbie made me feel comfortable throughout. I'm a solo female traveler and an introvert - so feeling at ease with a total stranger is far from a given. Yet I felt completely safe and well cared for throughout. Even better, there was never an awkward moment - Robbie is an empathetic and natural conversationalist, which made the hours pass by in the blink of an eye. His historical knowledge of each site/experience is incredible - I'm an academic person and I peppered him with questions and curiosities throughout, and his well of insights seemed endless. He was flexible and able to adapt the tour to match my interests (and the ever changing weather!) as we went along. He accommodated my need for frequent restroom breaks gracefully. He was a gentleman in helping me with my luggage at pickup and dropoff and making sure I had an umbrella if need be as the weather changed. And he was an excellent photographer! Super helpful to have someone who could snag photos in the gorgeous locations - some of my now most cherished images from the trip are the candid ones he captured (with permission). At every turn, he went the extra mile. I didn't want the tour to end! Now I want to come back ASAP and book a longer tour through Skye... 1 Day Private Tour - Loch Ness, Glencoe & The Highlands My partner and I had an absolutely amazing time on this tour! Blair, our tour guide, was fantastic—extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and personable throughout the entire trip. One thing we particularly appreciated was how flexible the tour was, allowing us to tailor parts of the experience to what we wanted to do. There was a great variety of sights and activities, giving us a wonderful taste of everything Scotland has to offer. My partner has a muscle condition and experiences reduced mobility, so accessibility is really important to us. The van was excellent, making it easy and comfortable for him to get in and out throughout the day. Blair was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating, always making sure my partner had the time and support he needed without ever making us feel rushed. His kindness and understanding made a huge difference and allowed us both to relax and fully enjoy the experience. This is the perfect tour if you have limited time in Scotland but still want to experience a wide range of Scotland's stunning scenery and attractions. We would definitely book another tour with them in the future. Highly recommended!

Scotland/Ireland/England Highlights 10 Day Tour Best way to give a comprehensive review is to outline the whole process. While that will mean for a lengthy review, when planning something as significant as a trip to Europe and especially if it’s your first like ours, as much information we can provide will hopefully give anyone planning something similar why you can and should trust that trip with Bonnie Scotland Tours…My wife and I had decided we wanted to make the most out of our first trip to Europe and having done cruises before that ported and gave an idea of what different cities/countries had to offer and option to go back and explore more of particular area directly, wanted to take same approach with this trip but land tour vs sea. We started with looking at preset tours but realized we did not want to be at the mercy of the choices and time lines of group tours and recognized we would get exactly what in sights, hotels and restaurants if we went bespoke. After extensive research into sights and hotels that appealed to us and we would want to have as part of our itinerary, next was researching private tour companies and we came across Bonnie Scotland Tour and sent over our “proposed” itinerary to them. The world class and exceptional experience began with Carol and within 24 hours we received contact back from her introducing the company (a small family based tour company) and within 48 hours a file with our highlights worked into an entire comprehensive tour package. In addition, Carol dissected our proposed highlights and recognized that with some minor adjustments to travel choices (air vs train/ferries) we could gain hours on those days and not only get all our our desired sights in but also gain time for additional recommended sights that are must see’s for each area. In no way ever trying to change our tour stops, adjust what appealed to us or force us into an easier or beneficial for them but instead 100% committed to make what WE wanted to do and ensuring OUR trip would be the most incredible experience was always the top priority. From there a virtual meet and greet with Noel; Both the owner and who would be our Scotland guide which went smooth and once again, that genuine desire to obtain any insight and provide any clarity needed to ensure our trip would be exceptional. The entire process was seamless with regular and prompt correspondence from Carol and Noel as needed increasing confidence in the process. When we finally got to the trip, not a single thing changed from the lead up to the actual execution of the experience. Although we had previously met Noel virtually, from the moment we saw his smiling face at the airport upon arrival you immediately realize you are in for more then just a tour, you are truly in for an experience that involves a trip with someone that is inviting you into their home and is passionate that you enjoy your time here. Your truly get the sense of family. Noel attended to every detail and throughout every single day, every sight we traveled to, he ensured we had the most incredible experience. His knowledge of Scottish history was beyond compare and he filled in our trip (simply because we filled in a pretty extensive number of sights and areas into our itinerary the sometimes lengthy travel times) with both in-depth and entertaining history. He made sure every start to the day, every stop during and the drop off to our castle hotels at the end of each day were perfect. In addition to our planned itinerary, with Noel taking the time to get to know what appealed to us, we saw some additional special spots Noel knew of that we found additionally amazing! His little additions like the toasts to end of some of the days were just an added personable experience you don’t get on large tours. It is also worth noting that another advantage of a Bespoke vs larger Preset tours came into play when we spent additional time on one of the days in spots we just found truly amazing and Noel was able to simply adjust our travel agenda to ensure we got the other planned spots in during the leg. While Noel handled the Scotland leg of the 10 day 3 country, 6 city trip, they do also directly handle Ireland tours and we were initially planned to be with Noel’s brother Ross in Ireland however due to an unexpected event that occurred beyond anyone’s control, our Ireland leg had to be handled by a trusted tour partner of Bonnie’s and the hand off for the Ireland leg was equally seamless and we had a guide in John that took amazing care and provided an exceptional experience as well where we saw multiple sights across Northern and Southern Ireland. Finally while Bonnie’s does not currently directly do tours in England, they did also work with a trusted partner they handled our 2 days of guided tours across much of the surrounding London areas we traveled to. We simply could not have asked for a better experience than we got from Bonnie Scotland Tour and Noel and the team. We would not only HIGHLY recommend Bonnie Scotland Tour for your trips to Western Europe but also we will be using them again when we plan our next visit to see other area of each of the countries. We found ourselves already looking forward to our next trip and time we will spend with Noel and the team for a new and next adventure!

Anxiety free trip outside of Edinburgh! During our stay in Edinburgh we wanted to visit Stirling and the Kelpies, but we didn't want to rent a car. We also didn't want to feel rushed at any site, which some larger tours make you feel. Bonnie Scotland Tours was the answer! We were able to get to all of the sites we wanted to see without worrying about driving or the schedule. It was absolutely worth the money for the private tour. Our guide, Nathan, was amazing! He was so friendly and patient and knowledgeable about the area and history. It was absolutely one of our favorite days of our vacation!

Exceptional service and experience This was our first tour in Scotland and we had high expectations! From the moment Robbie our driver showed up, to the time he dropped us off he was so exceptional in every phase that our expectations were exceeded!! Robbie actually became an extension of our family! He was kind, funny, knowledgable and he provided exceptional service!! Robbie is the absolute goat (GREATEST OF ALL TIME)🐐🐐 I don’t want to make this too long , Robbie was truly incredible. If they don’t basically give him the keys to this company after this tour- this company is doing something wrong. He was great for this whole thing. 10 out of 10! Donald was excellent! We had a toddler with us and he was extremely patient! He had so much knowledge about Scotland and really took the time to show us the beauty of it! We had plenty of snacks and even a bit of whiskey! I am grateful we went this direction to see the country. We had no worries and could just enjoy!

Great experience Nethan came prepared with drinks, snacks and some wonderful Scotch to sample. Our tour felt like a party. Lots of laughs, great views, story telling and information. He was bery accommodating to our needs. I wish we had more time with Nathan. Highly recommend.

Outlander Jacobite Adventure - Sensational Tour & Guide - Highly Recommend! I planned this special trip for my 80 years young mom and family/friends that also wanted to experience Scotland (and were all fans of Outlander). We were a group of 6 women from the ages of 24 through 82. From the beginning, working with Bonnie Scotland tours was a breeze. There is the basic 3-day itinerary but they were more than accommodating and encouraging of anything additional/different that we wanted to do during planning stage as well as on the fly. Robbie was the absolute best guide. His knowledge about Scotland and so much more was outstanding, but his humor and kindness made us all feel like family by the end of the (3) days. It was difficult to say good-bye! If we make it back to Scotland to explore some more, we will definitely book with Bonnie Scotland Tours again. Here are a few basics to know, in case they are helpful to your booking decisions: - Scotland is beyond stunning. We all fell in love with the beautiful country, its history and architecture, and especially the people. - There are plenty of snacks and beverages on the tour/van. My daughter has celiac disease and they had snacks specifically for her. - We would make a game plan the night before for our day tour and then make changes on the go if something was nearby that we wanted to see. - Reviewer "Lisa B" and "Passport 8507" were a part of this trip and provided additional information about our experience.

Great Fun & Beauty—Highly Recommend! Can’t say enough about Bonnie Scotland Tours and our guide, Robbie! We were 6 adventurous gals (aged 20-80) who travelled with Robbie on the 3-day Bonnie Outlander Tour visiting Outlander landmarks, story book villages, gardens, and castle ruins. It was everything we hoped a tour would be, incredible sights, comfortable touring van, plenty of snacks, flexible driver, open to requests (the highland coos!) Robbie kept us informed and entertained throughout, compared Scottish history with the Outlander series, and was polite to a fault! Added bonus— Robbie found the best local coffee shops and pastries each morning. It was unanimous: highly recommend—book this tour group!

Amazing tour for a family including teens and seniors We had a phenomenal tour with Robbie. He adjusted the itinerary to accommodate our group and made sure everyone was happy, entertained, and well-fed! We saw some of the beautiful and amazing sights I've ever seen. Well worth every penny spent!

Best guided tour around Edinburgh My husband and I had an exceptional experience. Graham, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very accommodating to us. My husband wanted to see the military base his dad was stationed at during WWII. Graham took us out to Leuchars and introduced us to the officer in command that day. They allowed us to take a few pictures and my husband was able to satisfy a long standing dream of his. Graham showed us many other places it’s of Edinburgh. He was very much in tuned with our needs and fulfilled all our hopes of seeing beautiful places and hearing the history and folklore. He even sang to us!! We loved the 5-6 hours we were with him! Thank you for your agency setting all of this up for us. We were beyond pleased!!
