Beautiful day and beautiful memories made! Best family day ever — the Highlands blew us all away. Our guide, Adam, was the absolute best and ensured the day was a wonderful and special family adventure. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

Best Tour In All Our Travels My wife and I had many plans during our time in Scotland, but when we realized we had a few days between Edinburgh and Inverness visits, we decided to schedule a private “Outlander” tour with Bonnie Scotland Tours, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our entire trip. Our driver and guide, Donald, was incredibly knowledgeable, and personable. He not only met our expectations; he far exceeded them. From the very beginning, he took the time to get to know us so he could tailor the experience to our interests, far beyond just “Outlander” sites. This made the four-day tour feel way more personal rather than scripted. We saw an incredible amount, yet we never once felt rushed. Donald guided us to wonderful local restaurants and charming lodgings, turning this portion of our UK trip into something far more meaningful than a typical sightseeing excursion. He had no interest in offering a cookie-cutter “Outlander” tour. Instead, he was determined to create an authentic and memorable experience. He made sure Susan was fully immersed in the “Outlander” locations and stories she loved, while also weaving in Scotland’s broader history and culture in a way that kept both of us completely engaged. Even while driving between stops, Donald pointed out fascinating sites beyond the “Outlander” world, from watching the “Hogwarts Express” train glide along its iconic curved viaduct, to a castle used in the filming of “Monty Python and the Holy Grail, to the remote area where British Commandos were started and trained during World War II. At each location, he provided rich historical context that made every stop feel significant. When one day brought less-than-ideal weather, Donald adjusted seamlessly, rearranging plans so we could still make the most of our time. He even taught us the proper Scottish way to describe the rain, “Pishin’ Dun!”, which still makes us laugh. Our only regret is not submitting this review sooner. Bonnie Scotland Tours is exceptional, and Donald truly feels like a resident professor of all things Scotland. We would not hesitate to book another tour the next time we return. An amazing tour The highland loch ness trip was amazing from start to finish.The scenery along the road is spectacular, every stop offering something unique and breathtaking. We covered so many places with in a day. Lunch at Clachaig inn bar was marvellous. The MPV was comfortable and our guide, Donald, was exceptional. He is highly experienced, knowledgeable about all the places and very engaging. His insights added much depth to the places we visited, making the entire experience more memorable. A truly outstanding tour. Highly recommended especially for those who appreciate countryside scenery and nature.

Great trip with Brian Brian was a brilliant tour guide and driver, he explained everything and didn’t rush us at any site. His car/van was spacious and he is a safe and considerate driver. Really enjoyed our trip and took effort in ensuring our comfort. Definitely recommend this trip. - Tom

Wonderful tour! Nathan greeted us at the airport dressed in a kilt. He was a hoot!! He came prepared with drinks, snacks and some wonderful Scotch to sample. Our tour felt like a party. Lots of laughs, great views, story telling and information. Very accommodating to our needs. I wish we had more time with Nathan. Highly recommend. Side note: The planning for this trip was easy as pie. The correspondence was excellent and the personnel was gracious to put up with my many questions.

Once in a life time experiences! I booked the 2 day private outlander tour for a honeymoon/birthday celebration. Working with Noel via email was easy and seamless, even with all the questions I had (and special request to do a hand fasting while out there). Donal took the time to learn the hand fasting tradition and “officiated” for us…it was amazing. As for the tour itself, Donald was incredibly knowledgable and an absolute pleasure to travel with. Just being my wife and I, we rode right up front after being invited and we had why felt like a better view than most dashcams! Donald’s flexibility was a breath of fresh air seeing that my wife and I can get a little adventurous, we stopped for some fish and chips and decided to run in to the North Sea (when will I ever have that opportunity again?). Aside from the castles and the company, Donald also brought along some great whiskeys which was really great to sip with the amazing scenery in the background. I could keep going on about the trip, and seeing that it’s still this memorable 6 months later, I feel I’ve marinated long enough and wanted to pass along my highest recommendation for Noel as a business owner and Donald as a true professional and all around top tier tour guide!

Perfect day! This was absolutely one of the best things we did on our vacation! Our tour guide was Andy and he was the absolute best. I can’t say enough good things about him. We skipped a few things that we didn’t wanna see and he took us to other parts that were better for us. I would highly recommend this Tour!

Best Day!!!! We had the best day touring the Highlands and learning about the history of Scotland. Our guide, Nathan was fantastic. We were a bit reticent to take this tour because we have a two and a four-year-old in tow but Nathan was great with the kids and found a great balance between ride times and letting the kids explore. They especially loved the cows! We would do this again in a heartbeat.

Unforgettable PrivateTour to Scotland My wife and I as well as another couple wanted a private 5 day tour of Scotland, and found several tour companies. One, Noel from Bonnie Scotland Tours was the only one to reach out and offer a video conference. I was thinking, he wanted to hard sell his company, but I was wrong. He just wanted to get more information on exactly what we were looking for on our tour. We spent over a half an hour discussing the tour, he was willing to go anywhere we wanted. I looked at his reviews and they were all very positive. We decided to use him and we are glad we did. He was fabulous. We wanted to travel the back roads, learn the culture, and history of the country. We also want to see castles and stay in B&Bs in small villages rather than hotels so we could get to meet local people. Noel suggested several B&B options and we selected the ones we wanted to stay in. Noel was a wealth of knowledge about the history and culture of Scotland, and did everything possible to make our trip unforgettable and he accomplished that goal. We visited multiple castles, small towns, and incredible vistas. We traveled in a van loaded with snacks and water. Every seat had a USB port. He even had a speaker system in the van so we all could hear what he had to say. Because we split the costs with the other couple, the cost was about the same as many tour companies offering small group tours of 15 to 20 passengers. You will not find a better company, Noel started our trip as our guide and ended as a friend.

very pleasant and fun trip We just completed a 9 day private tour with DONALD from Bonnie Scotland tours. Tour was great Donald our guide was so much fun. The 6 of us had a great time. Working with Noel the owner to schedule everything out was easy. The vehicle was comfortable and we made adjustment along the way for weather and actually got to see extras.

Great tour with an even better tourguide Organizing a tour for six down-to-earth Dutch people is a challenge, but from the very first moment, Ross took on the challenge. It turned into a day full of sightseeing, information, but above all, humor and fun. Thanks to Ross for the flexible guidance and for teaching us so much about the versatility of William Wallace. If anyone is planning to book a tour, this one is definitely recommended.

Beautiful Scotland & Outlander! When we decided to visit Scotland, my husband booked for us the Outlander tour because 1) we are fans of the show, and 2) wanted a personal experience without a big tour bus. Not only did we get to experience personal service, we got to experience so much more! Donald made our adventure extra special and we were able to visit over 6 castles, gardens, Culloden, places Outlander was filmed, feed some highland cows and enjoy some whiskey tasting. We learned so much about the land, history and people, and had some of the best weather imaginable! We felt so comfortable during the 3 day tour and recommend it to anyone who wants to do some serious adventuring through the Lowlands and Highlands of Scotland! Slante!!!

Awesome Tours We did this tour and Stirling Castle Highlands tour with Andy. He was without a doubt the best tour guide we have ever had on any tour we have ever been on. We all felt like we made a friend for life. He was knowledgeable, charismatic, funny, and just full of life. I don't think we would of enjoyed our visit in Scotland as much without all the fun we had on those tours. We will never forget that time in our lives, and we highly recommend him to be your tour guide. You will thoroughly enjoy it.

Amazing full day tour of Enchanting Scotland A perfect tour of Scotland for our first visit there. Our guide, Donald, made sure the tour was personalized to our needs.
