Morning: Whisky in the Clouds
Dalwhinnie Distillery – The Highland Classic
Nestled in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, Dalwhinnie Distillery is Scotland’s highest whisky distillery, perched at 1,164 feet above sea level. This remote, snow-covered gem produces one of Scotland’s smoothest and most approachable Highland malts—characterised by honeyed heather, delicate smoke, and a touch of spice.

At the heart of the Highlands lies Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery, home to Scotland’s most awarded blended whisky. Here, Aberfeldy’s signature 12-Year-Old Single Malt is crafted with pure water from the Pitilie Burn, a stream famed for its alluvial gold deposits—hence its name, The Golden Dram.

Following lunch, the journey continues through the Pass of Killiecrankie, a dramatic gorge known for its Jacobite history and the legendary Soldier’s Leap, where a fleeing soldier leapt over 18 feet across the River Garry to escape in 1689.

Afternoon: A Highland Institution
