This leisurely 2-day tour ensures a more immersive experience, allowing you to savour the richness of the Highlands at your own pace. We begin our expedition at Linlithgow Palace, a grand and historic royal residence. From there, we visit the awe-inspiring Kelpies, majestic horse sculptures that pay homage to Scotland’s industrial past. Next, we delve into the storied past of Stirling Castle, where legends of Scottish heroism echo through its ancient walls. We visit Doune Castle, famed for it’s use in Game of Thrones, Monty Pythons The Holy Grail and Outlander.


As we traverse the rugged Rannoch Moor and delve into the awe-inspiring beauty of Glencoe, the haunting landscapes will leave you breathless. Our day culminates at the iconic Glenfinnan Viaduct, renowned for its role in Harry Potter as The Hogwarts Express crosses it. Returning to Fort William, the largest town in The Highlands, we conclude our day with an overnight stay, nestled at the base of Ben Nevis, the highest peak in the British Isles.

On Day 2 We’ll travel through The Great Glen and cross the Caledonian Canal where it enters the tranquil waters of Loch Lochy, Loch Oich and Loch Ness. Glide across the legendary Loch Ness on a deep-scan boat cruise, revealing stunning views of Urquhart Castle from the water. Cruising the mysterious loch in search of the legendary Loch Ness Monster. Explore the haunting grounds of Culloden Battlefield with your guide to illuminate the poignant history around the last battle ever on British soil.

On our journey south we’ll pass through the picturesque Cairngorms National Park, where expansive landscapes and majestic peaks create a breathtaking backdrop. You’ll have an option of a Whisky Distillery tour before the final stop on our adventure, a heartwarming encounter with the charming Highland cows. Finally returning to Edinburgh, we’ll cross the Forth Bridges with views of the UNESCO world heritage site that is The Forth Rail Bridge.
